Year End Reading Goals/TBR

I have no book buying control. About a week ago I decided to go through- not my book wish list because that’s oh, about forty pages long but the actual books I own that I haven’t read yet.

Just the tip of the iceberg!

Four books. That doesn’t seem so bad right? Oh, these are just the physical copies. Other books that I’ve been stockpiling on my Kindle yet not reading include:

1. The Muse by Jessie Burton

2. Rebecca by Daphne Du Maurier

3. The Grace Keeper’s by Kirsty Logan

4. The Madman’s Daughter by Megan Shepherd

5. The Dreamer by E.J. Mellow

6. The Invisible Library by Genevieve Cogman

7. Beyond the Impossible The Girl with Silver Eyes by Fabio Furlanetto

8. Tides by Betsy Cornwall

& 9. Furiously  Happy by Jenny Lawson

This list does not include books I’m currently in the process of reading: The Twelve Days of Dash & Lily by Rachel Cohn & David Levithan, Writer’s Workshop of Science Fiction & Fantasy and Six-Gun Snow White by Catherynne M. Valente. None of which are going particularly well. Hey, it’s not all my fault. Most of this list was bought when the prices were down to like $1.99 or $2.99. How can you resist a deal like that?

And considering I just saw more deals on my Amazon wishlist I am not going to be able to resist in several more cases. I have zero self-control when it comes to books especially books I’ve wanted to read for a while that have gone dirt cheap on Amazon.

So my goal for the end-of-the year is to read AT LEAST HALF of this list not counting the three I’m already in the progress of attempting. Put it on-line I’m telling myself. Make it public. That will work 🙂
