Four old college friends get together for a crazy weekend in New Orleans. Ryan, Lisa, Sasha and Dina haven’t seen each other for a while but are bound and determined to reconnect and have a good time. I was bound and determined to have a laugh and this one worked out well.

All four actresses (Tiffany Haddish, Jada Pinkett Smith, Regina Hall and Queen Latifah) were really well cast and had great chemistry. They did a good job of absolutely seeming like old friends who knew each other forever through good and bad and could fight horribly and still make up easily.

Which isn’t always easy.

Just in case anyone isn’t familiar with the movie this is definitely an adult comedy. Lots of drinking, partying, sex talk and swearing.

If I nitpicked this in anyway it was predictable (especially the marriage stuff). Dina was over the top at times though I still liked her better than the Bridesmaids character she often gets compared to and I could have done without the whole peeing in the crowd bit. Like I get why they did it female lead comedies can be just as full of bodily functions as men, yeah, yeah. I just could have easily done without it and the movie would have lost nothing for me.

Recommend: Yes. Made me laugh while still bringing some feels.
