One of my two most anticipated films of the year- DC finally stopped screwing around and feed me the Aquaman trailer!
And I must say that much Jason Momoa in one shot was like balm after a really crap morning. 🙂 I think this trailer actually had a ton of pressure on it because of the effects because of the question of how the underwater stuff would work but I must say it looks amazing!
Taking into account this is only the first trailer the effects look like they are stunning! This one may be worth the price of IMAX. (Well, it was going to be worth the price of that for Momoa alone but you know what I mean!) I love the fact that there’s color and light and life in this trailer.
There’s a Wonder Woman feel to the whole thing. I love Jason in the role and the rest of the cast looks great. Though I must admit I thought some of the lines were cringe that’s been true in trailers before and rarely bothers me in the movies.
So after the first trailer drop Aquaman remains the most anticipated movie of the year (now that Infinity War is over) and I’m looking forward to watching more of the marketing unfold. I hope we get some more Nicole Kidman in the trailers to come.
Also as someone who didn’t know anything about and wasn’t interested in Shazam! Good work trailer people! Definite Big vibes mixed with a super hero? All I know is that I love Zachary Levi in everything I’ve seen him in (granted not much) and he’s got the charm and good natured playfulness to pull this off!

I’ve been pretty skeptical of this because let’s face it, Momoa’s badass and all but I didn’t really feel it? But dang this trailer is sweet. And Mera… yeah. I’ll see this!

I actually started paying attention to Jason Momoa when Chris Sharma shared on Instagram climbing photos featuring him and Jason climbing together. They are good friends. I was like ‘that’s the guy from GoT’… you are probably getting the picture, I’m completely oblivious to actors, their names but throw some climbing there and my attention span of a 5 year old may start paying some attention… 😂😂😂
Off to check out the trailer, I’m more Marvel rather than DC person but there’s always room for another superhero movie… 🍿 😊👌
Understandable. There have been times with celebrities where I haven’t cared a lick about them but show me a picture of them reading or horseback riding and I’m like hey, you’re interesting…

I’m more Marvel with the movies but I do so love the DC characters/ world. Hopefully their movies start to get better!
This is definitely going to be a tough one to pull off! I agree that the effects are going to be the hardest with so many underwater scenes, it could get really cheesy, really fast!

I really knew nothing about Shazam! so the trailer was such a nice surprise. But Zachary Levi is amazing and his friend is one of the IT kids and I thought they were all crazy good in that movie. Lots of hope for that one!
I’m really interested in Aquaman, even though I’m so so on superhero comic movies. (Although Wonder Woman was AMAZING). I always thought Aquaman was a bit lame as far as superheroes go, but to be fair that’s based on Saturday morning cartoons of my youth. But Khal Drogo as Aquaman can’t be bad, right? Thanks for the heads up that the trailer is out.
All I knew about Aquaman was even on the Big Bang Theory they make fun of the character! But I definitely think casting is on point 🙂
I can’t wait for Aquaman!!! Though I still need to watch Justice League first 🤦
Thinking about watching it again myself. I don’t think you need it to see Aquaman but still its a good refresher! Enjoy!
I really do hope this one doesn’t disappoint. I’ve always been a Marvel fan – the DC comics and their Superheroes never sucked me in the way Marvel did – and I feel like they’ve just messed up so many movies. Still – hope springs eternal and my fingers remain crossed. Cheers, Brian

Yeah, finally an Aquaman trailer! I waited so long and I absolutely loved it! I have to say, both Jason Momoa and Amber Heard looks hot and gorgeous! 😀
