So it’s been another stressful week but at least it’s raining (for me!) and I’m going to ramble mostly about movie trailers. But first, at long last, there’s a date for Good Omens!
May 31st it drops on Amazon Prime. It was also announced that Benedict Cumberbatch is voicing the devil which is generally how I like Cumberbatch best- voice work. Also Frances McDormand is playing God which is awesome!
I’ve been waiting to get a date for so long I almost didn’t believe it. Now I just want a date for season three of The Crown.

Yeah, bearded Jaime does make it less likely that I’ll bitch about the show as much. He’s not as dirty and scruffy as before but also he’s pulled his head out of Cersei’s ass so that and the beard will get me through 🙂
I’m excited for Endgame but will always mourn Steve’s awesome beard. Like every new thing I see I just want to know, “Why did he shave?”
The Hobbs & Shaw movie is the first time I’ve ever been interested in anything to do with Fast and Furious. It looks like it will be fun. Everyone looks great. Funny Jason is my favorite Jason…
No one remembers the Beatles except for one very enterprising guy. I’ll go see Lily James in pretty much anything but Yesterday looks like it will be pretty good.
Genie definitely doesn’t look good in the Aladdin trailer but even aside from that I’m a bit worried about how bored freaking Jafar sounded and quiet frankly looked. I think he’s the first of the main three we’ve heard speak? Which is worrisome.
I’m not giving up hope but I’m also still wondering why Guy Ritchie was chosen to direct this so there’s that…
The Frozen II trailer on the other hand… I really liked it! The animation looks beautiful. Elsa and Anna look great, the music was perfect and I have no idea what’s going on but I am totally in 🙂
And then out of the blue (well probably not but I haven’t been paying that much attention) a date and an EXCELLENT trailer for Killing Eve!
Oh man like I said I haven’t been paying much attention but the trailer looks like its going full batshit and I only have to wait until April 7th!!!
I don’t have a date for when Netflix might have season 2 of Derry Girls so I’ll just watch the trailer a thousand times when I need a laugh…
I’m sorry but as in the actual show Sister Michael totally steals the trailer.
So at least there’s lots of (hopefully) great entertainment in the months ahead. And also of course Happy Valentine’s Day to all!
Waiiiiit… the Derry girls is an e4 show? It looks fairly traditional, I had no idea you were into British tv shows (non-Netflix). Have you watched The Inbetweeners and Friday Night Dinner?
I’ve heard of the Inbetweeners actually people have compared it to Derry Girls. But generally my mom has an app called Brittbox and there’s Netflix I have to stick to that because I’m at a total loss to find them any other way 🙂

I think I remember you aren’t big on audiobooks but it was a good one plus the narrator sounds alternately like David Tennant and Hagrid- so I think it would be a fast read in book form! There’s some stuff that’s a bit dated but it will be interesting to see if they update.

The cast was definitely what interested me! I’d watch Tenant, Offerman and McDormand in anything so weird Terry Pratchett Neil Gaiman stuff should be a blast!
Total agreement about tragic loss of Steve’s beard and Statham being the best when he is funny! I wish he did more comedies, both Spy and Snatch are some of my all time favorite movies
He had his moments in The Meg 😉 but yeah the other two are classics!
Well golly I’ve never heard of Killing Eve but after that trailer? Yes please. Plus the woman from Dr. Foster is in it. Yay! She’ll do well as a psycho I’d think! If that’s her role. I need to find out more about this show…
I rolled through the first season very fast. And Jodie Comer is fantastic in this and she killed in the trailer!

I’m so glad I saw this cause I had no idea a premiere date had come out for Good Omens. Yeah! I’m a bit surprised though it’s not out till almost June. For some reason I thought it be earlier in the year. Well maybe I can actually read the book before the show comes out now though.
Yes, I am so happy Killing Eve is almost back on! I thought it was genius how the trailer came out on Valentine Day’s too!
And yes, where is the premiere date for The Crown already?! Maybe after Olivia Coleman wins the Oscar tomorrow they’ll announce it, LoL.

The Emmy submissions have a must air by May 31st deadline I think? So I still have my fingers crossed for soon of course Netflix might decide the last season of Thrones is going to suck up all the air and awards (no matter what) and sit back and wait until fall. I just want a date!
Oh, I hear that, LoL. I agree, it doesn’t matter how good other shows may be, if Game of Thrones is nominated (which of course it will be) all the other programs will most definitely be overlooked.
I cannot wait for Good Omens! I feel like I’ve been waiting for it for years and years. I hope they get the rights to play a lot of Queen.
