The Harley Quinn movie trailer is here (also known as Birds of Prey) and while it looks fun I’m also once again glad it’s not Gotham City Sirens.
In fact I’m not sure I want to see Ivy while Margot Robbie is calling the shots and I say that as a huge fan of Harley Quinn.
I do think the movie looks like a lot of fun. As a Harley fan there are some great moments in the trailer… a Diamonds are a Girls best friend musical action number??? I’ll take it every time.
Hyenas and great costumes (for Harley) and what looks like some nice action… sure why not?
We don’t get much from the rest of the Birds of Prey at all so it’s hard to judge but I think my biggest problem might be Mary Elizabeth Winstead as Huntress. I hate the look of the costume, she doesn’t look the least bit intimidating (in fact near the end she looked more confused than anything). Third watch I thought she looked a bit like a kid playing dress up with the big girls.
But this is only the first trailer and I think we’ve all accepted Birds of Prey is going to be the Harley show. I do think even if its bad it will be Suicide Squad bad where I still have fun watching it.
And there’s still the animated series to look forward to…

I’m really excited to see this movie. I love Margot Robbie and she is so good as HQ.
I love Harley so I’m excited as well. I do hope it balances out more with the other characters though!
I’m not shocked that Harley is completely taking over this film. I love that character too but they could’ve gone with a more even approach. I hope it’s better than Suicide Squad.
Well no Enchantress so I have hope! And I love Cara so it hurts to say that 🙂

I’m excited for this too! I would like to see more of Birds of Prey before the movie comes out either in posters or another trailer. But it looks like fun. A perfect movie for Valentine’s Day!
I’m hoping we’ll see more of them in the more story related trailer I think we’ll get 🙂 And get a look at Ali Wong’s character…
So I’m not familiar with these characters at all, although I recognize Margot Robbie in this costume. I didn’t realize her and the Joker dated? Anyway, I love her blue and pink hair, what’s the origin of that?
I think it’s supposed to happen when he pulls her out of the vat of acid the colors of their clothes streak but her hair looks different in different adaptations in a lot of her early appearances she’s just blonde. I do like the colors though! I’d do it if I could get away with it at work 🙂
