It’s been a crazy good couple of days for movie trailers or first looks. It’s kind of like Hollywood is easing us into 2020 like yeah, another decade of everyone’s lives are done and over but hey there’s some hopefully good movie shit coming up.
I actually wasn’t big on the teaser for this movie but I really like this one. It’s beautifully shot, the orchestral version of the music is perfect. And I like the witch. (I’m a witch girl. What can I say?)
Predication: This will be the highest grossing of the live-action remakes yet.
You can count me on the every other Bond in the Craig era is a great one so I have hopes for this. I like Lashana Lynch and Ana de Armas and his relationship in this one actually looks interesting. Though I’m not big on Rami Malek and I’m not sure anyone can touch Eva Green or Judi Dench in Casino Royale and Skyfall.
Ryan Reynolds could probably teach marketing classes or something at this point. I don’t know anything about gaming really but this movie does have Joe Keery whom I’ve never seen outside of Stranger Things and Jodie Comer (Killing Eve) who I’ve never seen in a comedy. And she looks awesome in the preview.
It just looks like it’s going to be a fun summer movie.
They gave Paul Rudd a beard and that’s kind of like my kryptonite.
I loved the original movies. They’re part of my childhood and I did enjoy the 2016 film (though it fell apart hard at the end) but one thing I think this movie will definitely do better is the original cast. I didn’t really care for the cameos in the 2016 film but hopefully here we will find out what happened to their characters. Obviously Spengler (and Harold Ramis) has passed away but I still want to know what kind of lives they had.
So lots of fun looking movies in the first half of the year are coming!
I’m excited but also super hesitant about Mulan! There isn’t a Mushu?!?! I thought maybe they were going to nix him because they were going to make it realistic, but if there is a witch why can’t there be a Mushu? (Tho I agree the witch does look awesome!)
I think will maybe get a version of Mushu? Maybe? But he just won’t talk? 🙂

I’m not sure about the Mulan movie. So far, I haven’t been impressed with live action disney accept for maybe Beauty and the Beast BUT I’m totally there for the new James Bond and the new Ghostbusters!!!❤️
From what I understand this is going to incorporate a lot of the original story of Mulan. Ghostbusters looks great! I think they were chasing Slimer at the end after I watched it a couple of times. They should have just showed him 🙂
No Time To Die is my most highly anticipated movie for 2020. Hopefully Tenet will also be great. Beyond these two though, I can’t think of anything else I’m super excited to see but I’m looking forward to being pleasantly surprised.
Looking forward to Tenet even more now that they’ve released a longer trailer!
