Entertainment and stories have always been a way of me trying to escape the hard times and look on the bright side of things. Then I realized in an alternative universe by now I would have finally seen Mulan and Bond and been 3- weeks out from Black Widow.
But no.

At least we’ll see a little of David Harbour and a lot of Chris Hemsworth in Extraction which is dropping on Netflix on April 24th.
Although I am starting to wonder if the protect the kid thing isn’t getting a little (a lot) overdone.
Allison Janney and Hugh Jackman are awesome and always entertaining. Hell even if I don’t like the larger product I can’t think of a time when I haven’t liked them and on April 25th we get a whole ass movie with the two of them!
Even sooner we get Cate Blanchett in Mrs. America on FX/Hulu
Should be a really interesting subject matter. Good actors even besides Blanchett. I can’t imagine it won’t be worth checking out.
And because entertainment news is a little light and getting lighter some nice on-going things to check out…
Florence Pugh has been cooking on her Instagram. Not only is it adorable and I’m going to make those recipes whenever its safe to go to the store again but recently she brilliantly took on the Internet trolls who feel the need to attack Zach Braff and the age difference in their relationship.
Lastly John Krasinski’s Some Good News show really is adorable. I didn’t watch the first one at first because I never cared for the office but the second one was so cute…
Ah, it did make me wish I had seen the original cast perform Hamilton on stage but there’s going to be a film of exactly that next October! So something to look way the hell ahead to 🙂
You’re not wrong about entertainment news drying up. I too am a fan of the Pugh and have been keeping my spirits up not so much by dancing but exercising, watching comedy and being thankful for sunshine.
I hope eXtraction is good but….it’s Netflix so that’s probably stupid to hope for something decent 🙂

I just saw the trailer for Extraction a few days ago – will definitely be watching that one.
I’m curious to know what the age difference is now!
Every time I see anything Hamilton related, my first thought is of Toni Morrison and the Haunting of Lin Manuel Miranda. I would pay to find out why Toni Morrison did not rate him at all lol!
