So I was a bit worried I had jumped the gun on the new Looney Tunes trailer and wouldn’t have anything to talk about looking forward to this week but actually there’s some good ones!
First for anyone whose been looking to watch the Harley Quinn show (which is amazing!) without subscribing to the app- the first 13 episodes of season one will be on the Sy-Fy Channel this May. Honestly it’s worth it for episode 4 and Bane alone but the show is just so much fun I hope everyone who was looking to watch gets the chance.
Meanwhile on May 4th Disney will start streaming a behind the scenes docuseries looking at The Mandalorian I love this behind the scenes stuff and what looks like the directors roundtable should totally make this worth it. Plus The Mandalorian is actually using some fascinating new screen technology that’s more than worth a look.
There’s also been a lot of speculation since it is May the 4th (Star Wars Day) we could see a season 2 trailer drop.
Also if you do like behind the scenes stuff all 8 episodes of a series called Prop Culture will hit Disney + on May 1st.
Plus in some other interesting movie news Warner Brothers has decided to send Scoob! straight to VOD on May 15th.
They are tweaking things a bit here to because while it will still be $19.99 for a 48 hour rental you will have the option to just outright buy it for $24.99. It’s steep especially these days but honestly even the discount shows cost about $20 bucks in my area for two people so there’s some merit to it being worth it. Especially if you’re hungry for something new!
