Looking forward #6: The Greatest Reunion Yet!

Viggo mortenson as Aragorn in Lord of the Rings

There’s going to be a Lord of the Rings cast reunion this Sunday! And that shot right to the top of my list of things to look forward to 🙂

It’s going to be on Josh Gad’s Youtube Channel show Reunited Apart. He’s done several of these as fundraisers but I can tell you just from the pic on Dominic Monaghan’s Instagram this week this will be the best one.

No bias or anything but Viggo and Karl how can it not be amazing?

In other news Jason Momoa will be teaming up with Peter Dinklage in a Vampire movie. Dinklage plays Van Helsing apparently. I don’t know much more but let’s be honest I don’t need to!

Sati over at Cinematic Corner let us know last week that there were stills from upcoming The Stand miniseries on Vanity Fair and I got to be honest I kind of wish I hadn’t looked after I saw the pics of Randall Flagg.

Maybe it will be better in live action? Has to be right?

Since that’s become a bit of tentative looking forward now onto more definite looking forward Apple TV is going to produce Gal Gadot’s Hedy Lamarr series. Although I’m more than a little weary about the executive producer but hopefully Gadot has the star power to keep things more in line.

I hope everyone has a great and peaceful weekend!

  1. I’m still trying to keep updated on Gal Gadot’s stance on Israel v Palestine, and hesitant to support any of her works. It’s a part of Islam that we don’t help those who oppress and, if she is still in support of it, then in my eyes, she is also a willing oppressor. If she is still in support of Zionism, here’s hoping she’s recast. Deepika Padukone would be way better.
