Different Ways to Say Reading Slump

Super Girl handles the books

I’m weighing all my book options and waiting to see which way the wind blows…

I’ve hit a wall… made out of my TBR. And it’s endless judgement.

It’s not a book thing there’s just so many great films to catch up on right now!

I’m so far ahead in my reading I’m letting the books catch up to me.

If a show is based on a book I’m totally counting that as reading the book. Especially if I was never going to do that in the first place.

Me: I’m taking a break from my one true love.

Mother: You’re eating a 3 Musketeers right…

Me: I meant reading mom! Not chocolate. I’ll do that after my birthday. Or Easter. One of these days.

January’s are hard.

Harley Quinn

You know the old saying if you love something stop doing it for a while and it will come racing back to you. Definitely by the time the new Murderbot novel is out!

Book Mood:

Me: Give me something with tears and fireworks.

Books: Bleh.

#am writing. Still not finishing anything but hey that’s what’s going on with the reading!

Me: I’m doing this book buying ban and concentrating on my physical shelf TBR.

Roommate: How is that going?

Me: Stop talking to me!

It’s not the end of the world. I know a great book is right around the corner 🙂

  1. You absolutely should not be giving up chocolate during a worldwide pandemic, just for starters!
I don’t read enough to have a book slump but I get it with movies, and with blogging. Taking a step back just gives you the time to realise why you love it so much <3
