The new Sarah J. Maas book is getting released this week and I’m both scared and shockingly looking forward to it. I mean if any book is going to break the cycle of Eh books I’ve been on it will be this one.
See I don’t need to love a book at this point I just want to feel something other than, “Well that was a book.”
While I thought the last book was frankly dreadful Nestea is my favorite character. (She isn’t a bitch she’s got a point about everything and I will defend her…) so yeah I’m terrified about what Maas is going to do to her.
I’m assuming fairy dick is going to solve everything.
I’d also bet money on her finding a way to shove in a scene where Rhysand slams Tamlin about what an asshole he is for absolutely no reason except to win Rhysand some woke points at this juncture.
But I digress.
Make me angry Sarah. Maybe I want you to!
Meanwhile I’m starting to worry about the fate of The Mandalorian…

I’m not sorry to see Carano go all other things aside the woman was out acted by a puppet and a man in a helmet. All the time. She was the sore thumb in a galaxy far, far away. Meanwhile rumors have been swirling around the 3rd season since the finale linked the Boba show to the December date Kathleen Kennedy gave. I was trying to keep it all in perspective but now Pedro’s been cast in the high profile adaptation of The Last of Us…
Which officially has one too many Game of Thrones cast members for me and none of them being Nikolaj is a crime no matter how much I might like Pedro.
I mean we’ll have to see how it all shakes out. And I know Pedro doesn’t always have to be on-set all the time for Mando. It’s just weird that even within the on-line fandom which is the place people usually have the most answers everything is very up in the air.
But in better news Netflix is going into the adaptations hard…

We got images and character posters for Shadow and Bone and I would say a trailer should be forthcoming very soon. It feels like Netflix is putting some actual publicity behind this one. Of course it could be that I’m actually paying attention but I do hope for the best here.
They are also adapting Alice Oseman’s graphic novels Heartstopper which I really need to get on reading.
And we have some high casting for Neil Gaiman’s Sandman which is moving along it seems. So I’m looking forward to finally seeing that as well. So hopefully some great shows and books ahead of us!
