As much as I’m looking forward to Being the Ricardos I know I’m really, really going to have to turn my mind off to the show. Because this isn’t actually about the Ricardos but about Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz.
Anyway the first trailer was interesting…
Javier Bardem and Nicole Kidman don’t really sound like them and you only really see him until one shot…
I mean the movie looks good. I love both actors (and J.K. Simmons as Fred!) so I think I’ll buy into it. Plus they were fascinating people and this seems right up Aaron Sorkin’s alley.
Being the Ricardos will be in theaters on December 10th and then available on Amazon Prime on December 21st.
And honestly I’m there just to see if Nicole Kidman not exactly known for comedy can pull off the iconic grape smashing scene or if they cut away.
I have to throw my hands up and admit I know nothing about Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz but I’m a huge fan of the cast and the last movie Aaron Sorkin directed so count me in!
