What Jedi will Answer the Call?

Spoilers for Episode 5 of the Mandalorian: The Jedi

Grogu in the Jedi

So in this episode Ahsoka sends Din and Grogu to a Jedi Temple and tells him sit the kid on a stone and he’ll make his own decision and perhaps one of the remaining Jedi will answer his call and presumably come and train him up.

There’s a lot to unpack but since part of the fun of the Star Wars fandom (when not trying to kill each other) is speculation. Let’s do it! What Jedi is going to answer Grogu’s call?

The Truth About The Princess Switch

It doesn’t seem like the movie but there was a moment so frightening in The Princess Switch 2: Switched Again that it caused me to rethink all of these holiday movies and just in general see the darkness behind these films about the baker with doppelgängers in high places.

I don’t spoil the movie as a whole (that’s for the accent work to do) but I do spoil a blink and you’ll miss it cameo.

I didn’t miss it. Seriously it made me set up and go, “Oh no!”

A Dent in the Armor of His Belief? The Seige

Spoilers for Episode 4 The Siege Below!

Baby Yoda is like my spirit character this episode- I mean this is a child who was swallowed by a sea creature and chased by thousands of little and one giant angry spider and I think the only force energy he’s exerted this season is to get food.

Plus there are macaron looking things in a galaxy far, far away. If they have 3 Musketeers sign me up for a trip.

Anxious People: A Great Read for Busy Times

Anxious People

By: Fredrik Backman

Anxious People is a great holiday read because it’s a pretty fast read number one but honestly the beginning of the book the characters were all kind of unlikable assholes (of varying degree) except the bank robber who I just felt sorry for but than they all really grown on you.

Feels like family and the holidays to me.

Tsarina: The OG Peter and Catherine

Tsarina

By: Ellen Alpstein

I enjoyed the (not really) historical drama The Great earlier this year so when I was offered a chance to read Tsarina as part of a blog tour I was like sign me up! Especially seeing as how the book is about the first Empress Catherine and Peter the Great.

Thanks to the publishers and Netgalley for the e-arc of the book. It didn’t change by opinion of the book in anyway.
