Getting it in under the wire again for Aries!
I use the horoscope and information at Elle On-Line and whether you believe this stuff or not it’s all in good fun for some book and film recommendations.
Maybe anti-romantic is a little harsh. Not romantically inclined? Like a little bit of darkness in your love story (or a lot) such as it were? With Valentine’s Day right around the corner I thought I’d offer some ideas for books that have just the right amount to appeal to the person who likes a certain kind of love story.
I’ve been getting into star charts and astrology, tarot cards and the like the past couple of months. What you believe in or want to take from that sort of thing is personal. I enjoy it and in some ways it helps me concentrate.
So I thought I would look at the different signs, as the year goes, and do book recommendations based on the traits of the sign. Capricorn runs from December 22-Jan 19th so I’m a little late but not to bad!
It’s Fall for a few more days right? And I’ve done this tag for every season this year so since blogging is one of the few things I’m consistent on I wanted to keep going! You can find the link to Zarriah Rose (original creator) and recommendations for: Winter, Spring, & Summer
This tag was originally created over on Youtube by Zarriah Rose & I have actually managed to do some seasonal recommendations for Winter and Spring. There’s a couple of good days left of summer (actually more but I’m of the once past Labor Day and back in school it’s officially over.)
Below are some fun recommendations for books I read this summer! But are good any old time of year.
So I did one of these for Spring I’m not calling it my Summer TBR because that pretty much guarantees that I won’t read them. I am not great at TBR’s so let’s just call them books that scream to be read in the summertime (in my opinion) and hopefully you’ll find something that sounds good to you this summer or anytime really.
I rewatched Incredibles for the first time in ages a couple of days ago and naturally started thinking about which books they would love to read and recommend to other people. Because apparently I am overly interested in what characters in movies would read!
Below they recommend some of their favorite books…
Seeing as how Taylor Swift’s Reputation tour kicks off today I thought I’d do a recommendation list of books that go will with this particular album/era.
Some go well with the album overall. Some go well with certain songs on the album and others are just about women embracing their reputations but also writing their own stories and in some cases about how we only know so many people by their reputations or our ideas of them and never really know the whole true person.
So with the holiday weekend coming up I was thinking about how hard it might be to get a chance to read and, for me at least, how I actually need to find opportunities to read when I’m stressed so I came up with a couple of recommendations for getting through a crazy busy stretch of days.
