You know if Rise of Skywalker had just done what’s in the preview for the new Holiday special I think I would have been okay with it actually. Embrace the crazy. Go with it. And I need a laugh so this looks like it will provide it.
We got a trailer for Dash and Lily!
Which naturally immediately made me wonder about the Six of Crows trailer… No, I really loved Dash and Lily’s Book of Dares and I’m actually looking forward to this one.
Directed by: Marc Lawrence
I like the whole cast of Noelle and if I’m going to watch a Christmas movie it better be somewhat at the North Pole.
So no I’m not going to admit that I may have signed up for an entire streaming service just to see Bill Hader play a Santa in training. Nope. Not admitting that.
I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas! I thought I’d combine my December Blind Spot with my holiday reading and wrap it all up at once. I didn’t finish my Christmas reading list. But I still had some fun with it. And years ago I once promised myself I would never watch A Christmas story mainly because TBS was running it constantly at Christmas but hey, I enjoyed it anyway.
Directed By: John McTiernan
Die Hard was my Blind Spot movie for November because I am in a very weird holiday mood. It was Die Hard or Krampus. But this… this turned out to be a good pick. Not sure I’d classify it as a Christmas movie as much as some people do but whatever.
It has young cute Alan Rickman in a suit.
The Nutcracker and the Four Realms
Directed by: Lasse Hallstrom & Joe Johnston
How does one get to live in a realm of sweets? Do I need a passport? A visa? Because I would be all over that. Get to wear over the top dresses, have cotton candy hair and probably live in an actual gingerbread house. Life goals.
