As we get ready for all the new 2020 movies I thought I’d wrap up my movie year in a one sentence for each film post 🙂 I had fun looking back and doing this for 2018.
Though to keep it simple I am limiting it to 2019 theatrical releases mostly in the order I saw them.
My apologies if you have a particular love of like cats and don’t want them lumped in with CGI creatures- I do to. Or vice-versa. But I’m lumping them all together with the great performances by animals, CGI creatures of all sorts, and of course one very famous puppet.
We made it to the half way point! Cheers to us!
Thinking back over all the entertainment books, television and films over the last couple of months all I can do is hope that there are some nice surprises to come. I mean don’t get me wrong there’s been some good stuff even some gems but nothing that really surprised me.
But there are definitely some great options ahead. Especially in books!

Spring is here and April was a very good month in entertainment. I watched my nephew for a week this month and despite predictions I did not sell him for books.
However I’m grateful we weren’t doing a swear jar or anything because even trying to watch myself I’d probably be broke.
If I think about it the entire MCU has been like a book series that I’ve been reading for over a decade now which finally came to an end. More impressively despite all the build-up and all the hype I think it was an entertaining powerful and well earned ending.
I feel like it’s a movie I have to see again to take in everything I probably missed the first time. Which I will. So instead the MVP’s (sometimes a bit general) but spoilers, spoilers, spoilers below!
So only hours really until my most anticipated movie of the year opens. I thought I’d do a final predictions list. I was going to make a Bingo Card but I am just not graphically inclined.
I did do a theories post a while back.
I have managed to stay unspoiled save for the shows announced on the new Disney streaming service. Which I wasn’t even happy about that. So no spoilers just plain old guesses below.
Endgame is coming!
And possibly a new Taylor Swift album but that’s a story for another post 🙂
So I thought I’d do my picks for Top 7 Marvel Characters. Why 7? Well I couldn’t narrow it down to five. I am basing this a lot on who I feel has had the best overall writing and story arcs throughout the series at least as much on who I just plain love.
Probably the main thing not conducive to blogging or keeping up right now is abdominal  surgery and a stomach full of stitches. I told myself I wasn’t going to bother with posting or even scheduling posts but I had really been hoping to keep up with reading and commenting and that just didn’t happen.
