Well Lego Emperor Palpatine totally stole the show for me. The Star Wars Holiday special might not have been as out there as the first one (a good thing in my opinion) but it was still a completely amusing hour as Rey goes back in time and the whole timeline collides while Poe tries to plan a party.
I am not the biggest fan (understatement) of the holiday romance movie but this new Hulu film Happiest Season actually does sincerely look enjoyable. Plus it’s lovely to see some representation in a holiday romance!
We got a trailer for Dash and Lily!
Which naturally immediately made me wonder about the Six of Crows trailer… No, I really loved Dash and Lily’s Book of Dares and I’m actually looking forward to this one.
Directed by: John McPhail
I tried watching a holiday Zombie musical and darn it I loved it! This is also the second zombie movie I’ve seen that has seriously made me cry. (Train to Busan being the first.) Maybe zombie stuff makes me overly emotional? Of course this one also made me want to sing and dance through a graveyard so there’s that…
Ralph Breaks the Internet
Directed By: Rich Moore & Phil Johnston
The Princesses were the part of Ralph Breaks the Internet that I was most looking forward to and, to be honest, they were my favorite part. Well, tied with Vanellope’s awesome Princess song.
But the movie overall was very enjoyable. As Ralph (John C. Reilly) and Vanellope (Sarah Silverman) take to the Internet to find a replacement part for her game.
