It was a surprise to me during the run-up to the recent movie when I heard Amy March was an unpopular/controversial character amongst Little Women fans. I thought why?

And then I was thinking you’re a card-carrying member of the Catelyn and Sansa Stark fan club (books anyway) and the three characters actually have a lot in common with each other that I think makes them unfairly divisive.

Little Women: The March Sisters Return

I was really excited to check out this latest adaptation of Louisa May Alcott’s book about the March sisters. It’s a beloved story and I think if you know and love the story you’ll enjoy the movie (I did.)

The movie is coming with a lot of hype (All Gerwig needs to do is be associated with a movie and it’s over-hyped) and some awards controversy already.
