Blogging Confessions: Fear

Harley Quinn on Social Media

In all my Halloween Fall reading meant to scare me I haven’t read a book that’s done it yet. I haven’t found what I’m looking for yet I know that book exists…

And I don’t mean that metaphorically.

I know it. I own it.

I’m just to chicken to read it because when I get down to it I have many fears and anxieties but one takes the cake and it’s one you tend to run into a lot…

It Follows Does the Deed

It Follows

It Follows

Directed By: David Robert Mitchell

Grade: B+

So despite chickening out of Halloween (was there ever any doubt?) for some strange reason I was determined to watch a scary movie for October’s Blind Spot. It Follows seemed like a perfect one.

I mean after all its not some serial killer sneaking in and hacking you to death. Just don’t have sex with anyone whose seeing things that other people don’t and is possibly cursed. Which is a really good rule anyway.

Train to Busan

Train to Busan

Directed By: Sang-ho Yeon

Grade: A

I love finding a movie where my first thought is, “Eh, I’ll just try it because it’s not really my thing,” and then absolutely loving it. Which pretty much happened with Train to Busan. I flipped it on like I’ll just watch a couple of minutes and catch up on it later cause I have too much to do.

2 hours later I still have too much to do and I’m crying (again) over a zombie movie.

The Witch

Director: Robert Eggers

Grade: A-

In 1630 a family of highly religious settlers try to make a go of it on the edge of some very lovely looking woods. It’s not going to badly until baby Samuel disappears without a trace and the crops begin to fail. Then everything definitely takes a turn for the worse.
