Top Ten Tuesday today is Character Traits that Make You Love Them which sounded like the perfect chance to do an ode to the characters I love.
I was really going to go for it but had to control myself because while great hair and a killer beard might give me heart eyes it’s not really a trait.
Most apply to multiple characters obviously.
Every now and again I tell myself I’m going to actually use Twitter correctly connect with people do all the stuff its there to do.
I open it. I retweet stuff. I like stuff but I’ve come to the conclusion that I have utter and complete Twitter Block.

I got Wanda which was a yeah for me because she’s one of my top 5 Marvel characters. But that got me thinking: fantasy book clubs and who else would be in mine 🙂 And surprisingly I didn’t just stack it with you know, David Harbour, Jason Momoa and Tom Hardy it’s legit about the books!
So I saw the new Aladdin and liked it far more than I thought I would from the previews to be honest. It wasn’t great but having never seen the original I can’t compare it to anything. The new film did shoot Jasmine up into my top three Disney Princesses.
And not just because she’s so stylish although that did play a big part.
It also got me thinking about what the best Disney Princess (official and unofficial) looks actually are…
I’ve been thinking about a March wrap-up and my recent reads worried I was in a book slump. Though I’m still reading a ton and I still want to read everything… but the last couple of weeks there hasn’t been anything that’s really blown-me away.
It could be me.
But I’m starting to believe it’s the books that are in a slump and not the reader.
Alice in Wonderland (1951)
My March Blind Spot Series Pick was Alice in Wonderland. It’s of course the famous tale of the girl who falls down a rabbit hole and into Wonderland. Much as I love the story (and wonder who goes around sticking their heads down holes?) I’ve never seen this version.
Probably the main thing not conducive to blogging or keeping up right now is abdominal surgery and a stomach full of stitches. I told myself I wasn’t going to bother with posting or even scheduling posts but I had really been hoping to keep up with reading and commenting and that just didn’t happen.
The Little Mermaid
My Blind Spot pick for February was an easy one as I have never seen the Little Mermaid and it became available on iTunes right around my birthday it was a little treat to myself.
Luckily it was not a wasted gift!
Well the Aquarius sign holds a special place in my heart. It’s traits include: true bohemian, logic combined with creativeness, a concern for the underdog and human rights. They are also gifted communicators, team players and full of great humor. But full of contradictions (like most people.) So I tried to pick the recommendations that most played into those.
I do like that one of the “issues” is flashes of unexpected rage. Um, yeah. I got that…

Did I completely miss we’re getting a Nancy Drew adaptation this year? I admit I’m possibly more excited about Sophie Lillis (IT) playing Nancy because that just seems like great casting.
