Loki & Geeked Week Incoming

This week Loki finally debuts on Disney+.

I’ve been looking forward to this one for ages. But remember Disney has moved this up so instead of Friday’s now it will debut on Wednesday June 9th. Unfortunately still at 12 a.m. but hey it’s finally here!

I’ve been trying to stay as unspoiled on Loki as possible but I am hoping for a Rene Russo cameo. Loki had such interesting relationships with his brother and father and then with his mother it was obvious that they loved each other and then she died. That was it.

I’d love to have seen more especially with their magic! I’m not expecting it but it would be the nicest surprise on the shows so far.

This week is also Netflix Geeked Week kind of like an on-line comic-con like even and it seems like if you love a Netflix show or are excited about an upcoming film you’re gonna maybe likely get some news 🙂

It goes Monday the 7th through Friday the 11th and there’s a long list of some of the things they’ll be advertising right near the top is The Witcher Season 2…

I think we’ll get a preview this week! Maybe just a teaser with a date but I’ll take what I can get. Shootings been done for nearly two months and it’s confirmed to come out this year so it’s ripe for a trailer of some sort.

I also hope get confirmation of a season 2 for Shadow and Bone. That show got good reviews and was well-received it seems but they’ve been weirdly silent about it since worrisomely so since they just canceled Jupiter’s Legacy (which I only managed one episode of that mess so maybe it’s not related?).

Either way an event like this does seem like a perfect time to announce season 2 and maybe perhaps whose playing Nikolai and Wylan?

If we don’t hear anything this week my optimism on a season 2 at all is gonna take a hit.

I haven’t seen anything official on Stranger Things season 4 but it seems weird to do an event like this and not have anything on one of your biggest shows, if not your biggest.

July will mark 2 years since it’s bang up last season so I’m a little whiny for something more hell I’ll take a definite season at this point you know the mind flayer and fade to a screen that says Winter 2022 or something?

A girl can dream but I’d still put money on some sort of Witcher teaser… either way we’re definitely finally getting Loki and that’s more than enough to get me through the week!
